The Friends-themed pop-up experience is back open in Chicago.
The announcement comes after the pop-up temporarily closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Indiana-based WISH-TV.
“We were on a break! But now we’re back, and it’s bigger than HUGE!” The Friends Experience website reads. It’s open again at 540 N. Michigan Ave. at the Shops at Northbridge in Chicago. Superfly opened it in a partnership with Warner Bros.
“Explore Joey and Chandler's apartment, sit in Monica and Rachel's kitchen. You'll even get to poke Ugly Naked Guy. We have 12 rooms of set recreations, original props and costumes, photo ops, a retail store and a Central Perk set. I KNOW!”
The Friends Experience is hailed as the “most immersive” experience for fans of the hit series, with set recreations, prop and costume displays, fun facts and more.
Tickets are available online. Guests can also find health and safety information (because The Friends Experience is not just clean — it’s Monica Clean).
Friends premiered in 1994, running for 10 seasons and remaining one of the most popular award-winning sitcoms today. It starred Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc, along with other lovable cast members.
