Most recently, she cut her hair super short as she prepares to drop her new album Dancing with the Devil … The Art of Starting Over, as well as opening up her life to fans over the last few years in her new documentary Dancing with the Devil.

During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, she explained the meaning behind her new short hairstyle, "I used to use my hair to hide behind. It would cover my body. So when I started doing all this work on myself, I thought, 'What is something that I've been holding onto my whole life that I need to let go of?' And it was that. I feel more myself now."
