VIDEO: Brawl Breaks Out Over MMA Match In South Florida Bar

A fight between several people was caught on camera inside a Lake Worth, Florida bar moments after an MMA fight ended, according to NBC Miami.

Cellphone video shows patrons in the Bamboo Room getting violent outside the ring after some people didn't like how a referee called the fight. You can watch the video HERE.

“Punches were thrown, bottles were thrown,” John Rivera said, a former professional fighter who was judging the match. A woman was shown throwing a chair into Rivera's face, according to reporters. The former fighter said he tried calming people down but was unsuccessful.

“There was nowhere I could move, left or right there were alternations all over the place, it was chaotic. When I tried to get from the mayhem the woman threw the chair at me,” Rivera said.

Things escalated further when a man in a red shirt and jeans reportedly reached into a purse and pulled out a gun. Seconds later, he fired into the air.

“Who knows what his thoughts were, if it was to diffuse the situation, but you can’t do that in the United States, especially at an event packed with fans, with people, you can't shoot guns in the air,” said Armando Gonzalez with Rize Fighting Championship, who organized the event.

At least two shots were fired that night, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office confirmed. Deputies said no one was hit by the bullets, and no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing, they added.
