Ken Jeong donated $50,000 to the families of the victims of Atlanta-area spa shootings last week.
NBC News reported that the actor and comedian made five donations of $10,000. Each went to Go Fund Me campaigns set up for families of five of the victims: Soon Chung Park, Hyun Jung Grant, Suncha Kim, Xiaojie "Emily" Tan and Yong Ae Yue.
Delaina Ashley Yaun, Paul Andre Michels and Daoyou Feng were also identified as victims of the attack, NBC noted. There's another Go Fund Me campaign set up to help Elcias Hernandez-Ortiz, the only survivor of the shooting, with medical care.
Eight people — six of whom were women of Asian descent — were killed in the shootings on March 16.
Police identified Robert Aaron Long, 21, as the suspected shooter. Long faces four counts of murder in Cherokee County, among other charges, according to 11 Alive.
Jeong also shared a video on Twitter urging people to “stop the pandemic of hate.”

He also addressed the shootings during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
“Asian-American women are two times as likely to be assaulted in America,” Jeong said. “This was clearly, clearly racially motivated. This was clearly a hate crime.”
