Do you ever find yourself craving a waffle? It doesn't matter if it's for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even dessert, there is a delicious choice for any time of the day. Whether you want Southern-inspired chicken and waffles or Belgian style, a traditional favorite, there are plenty of restaurants around Nashville serving up different options.

Listed below are some of the best places you can find great waffles around Nashville.

Pancake Pantry

Pancake Pantry is a favorite of locals and tourists alike and, despite the name, serves up some of Music City's best waffles. Try the classic plain waffle with powdered sugar or mix it up with any choice of toppings like blueberry or peach compote. You can even add pecans, sugar and spice, sweet potato and more. Make sure to get there early — this place is known for its long line to get in!

The Liege Waffle Co.

One of Nashville's newest waffle shops, The Liege Waffle Co. offers guests the chance to experience locally-inspired Belgian street food. With ingredients imported directly from Belgium, The Liege will likely become your new favorite place for the traditional Belgian-style favorite. Sample one of their specialty, artisan creations or try your hand at designing your own.

Just Love Coffee Cafe

With several locations around Nashville, you're never too far away from Just Love Coffee Cafe. Not only do they have delicious traditional options, most of their menu is served up waffle-style — even their avocado toast and sandwich melts. They also have a wide selection of handcrafted coffee, so make sure to grab a cup with your meal for the full experience.

Milk & Honey

Milk & Honey opened in 2013 as a spin-off of Community Pie, a local favorite for New York-style pizza. This coffee shop serves up delightful treats and pastries as well as an expansive breakfast and lunch menu. It's no surprise that their chicken and waffles are a favorite, but they offer a spicier version with Nashville's famous hot chicken. Another unique twist to the tradition is their rosé-soaked waffles topped with rosé syrup.

Sun Diner

Located in the heart of downtown, right next to the Johnny Cash Museum, Sun Diner is open 24/7. Inspired by Sun Records and the history of Rock n' Roll, the decor and even the menu reflect the beginnings of the label and of Music City. While Sun Diner doesn't have an expansive waffle selection, the Chicken N' Waffles are their most popular dish — crispy chicken strips served on a fluffy waffle and topped with the diner's own maple syrup.
