Shy Carter is making a name for himself with his debut single, “Good Love,” but this isn’t his first rodeo when releasing songs to radio.
Shy is responsible for penning smash hits like “One Call Away” by Charlie Puth, “Mr. Almost” by Meghan Trainor, “Heaven” by Kane Brown, and “Stuck Like Glue” made famous by Sugarland.
After more than a decade in the music business, Shy recently took a breath to reveal what advice he would give his younger self. We should all take notes.
“If I could give my younger self advice…I would say, “Don’t worry so much about trying to make money,” says Shy in a statement to press. “Just worry about making an impact in the world, and money will come with that.”
Shy’s positivity radiates in his uplifting single “Good Love,” as he croons praise for someone in his life who has stood by him through thick and thin and often lent a hand.
“When I’m broke, you don’t break / You say, “You can make it,” he sings.
