The Arizona State Fair May Be Moving Locations for 2021

The Arizona State Fair may look different this year... literally.
12 News reported that the fair may be moving locations for 2021.
An official notice from the Arizona Exposition and State Fair on the event's website states that the board is looking into and touring the Wild horse Pass Motorsports Park "for the potential hosting of the 2021 Arizona State Fair."
"Pursuant to A.R.S.ยง 38.431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Arizona Exposition and State Fair Board and to the general public that the Arizona Exposition and State Fair Board will hold a Workshop on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 11:30 A.M. at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park, 20000 South Maricopa Road, Chandler, Arizona 85226, for the purpose of touring property for the potential hosting of the 2021 Arizona State Fair."
There will be a meeting at 1 p.m. following the tour to discuss the matter further. The meeting is open to the public, and it will be held at the Rawhide Steak House Sunset Room.
Organizers are aiming to hold the State Fair sometime in October.

The Arizona State Fair is typically held at the State Fairgrounds at McDowell Road and 19th Avenue in Phoenix. The event was cancelled in 2020, and a series of drive-through fair food events were held in its place.
