Police in Fort Walton Beach, Florida were performing a DUI stop on Wednesday when they discovered a large snake in the passenger seat.

The driver reportedly told officers the snake was his ‘emotional support animal.’

The weird part? According to the website EmotionalSupportAnimalCo.com, pythons and other snakes are relatively common as emotional support animals, saying they’re easy to care for, hypoallergenic, extremely quiet, and their tendency to wrap and coil around people can feel comforting…like a hug… that just doesn’t quit until you do.
