Two students at North Carolina State University were arrested last week and face multiple felony charges stemming from an alleged assault of another student, WRAL reports. Both men played baseball for the school's Wolfpack team but have since been suspended from play.

David Harrison, 21, and Kent Klyman, 23, are accused of breaking and entering into Hudson Hall in Wolf Village on Wednesday (March 24) before assaulting and "terrorizing" a victim, the news outlet reports. Klyman is also accused of punching the victim several times in the face.

They appeared in front of a judge on Monday (March 29), who told them that they could potentially serve time behind bars.

"If convicted of these charges, you do face the possibility of going to jail," District Court Judge Debra S. Sasser told the pair.

WRAL spoke with Fred Demarest, senior associate athletic director for NC State, who provided a statement on the former student-athletes following their arrest last week.

"We are aware of the charges and await additional details," said Demarest. "The student-athletes involved have been suspended from athletic participation pending resolution of this matter in accordance with the NC State Student-Athlete Code of Conduct."

Their next court appearance is scheduled for April 19.
