A French rabbit breed, the sauteur d’Alfort, can't hop. Instead it walks on it's front paws and now scientists know why. It's all about the DNA. Researchers discovered mutations in a gene typically found throughout the nervous system rob sauteur d’Alfort rabbits of their ability to hop.
