Memphis Police are searching for a woman who reportedly opened fire on employees at a restaurant last week after becoming upset at the wait time. Officers responded to the Burger King on Winchester Road March 30 after an angry customer pulled a gun on workers at the fast-food chain, WKRN reports.

According to police, a verbal altercation between the woman and employees grew heated and led to the customer retrieving a handgun from the four-door gray sedan she was in. The woman then allegedly leans into the drive-thru window and begins firing multiple shots and causing employees to run.

"The workers fled from the gunfire through the rear door of the business and were unharmed," police said in a statement. "The suspect was accompanied by a male who was the driver of the gray sedan."

"I hate that they were impatient," said Dewayne Wilson, who FOX 17 reports was interviewed in the parking lot. "Kids work there."

Another man said, "It had to be something deeper than just an order taking too long."

Police are still searching for the suspect and ask that anyone with information regarding her identity call Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH or submit a tip at crimestopmem.org. Information leading to an arrest could result in a cash reward up to $1,000.
