Mark, Donnie Walhberg's Mother Dies At 78

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Wahlberg family announced on Sunday that their mother, Alma Wahlberg, has died. She was 78.

Alma was the mother of actor Mark Wahlberg, singer/actor Donnie Wahlberg, and seven other Wahlberg siblings.

Donnie Wahlberg addressed his mother's death on Instagram, saying "I’ve often said, if you like anything about me, I got it from Alma...She was, without a doubt, the most loving human being I’ve ever known."

Mark Wahlberg also addressed his mother's death in a Twitter post, saying, "My angel. Rest in peace."

Alma appeared alongside the rest of the Wahlberg clan in the A&E show Wahlburgers, which follows the family's quest to expand their restaurant business.
