The man known as the "COVID Bandit" is back in the news again for taking generous tipping to the next level.

This time, the man brought joy to an upscale restaurant in Boulder last weekend, reports CBS4.

Flagstaff House posted a photo of the man's receipt to their Facebook page.

"COVID Sucks! $200.00 for each employee from dishwashers, bus people, servers, chefs, valet, hostess, etc." he wrote at the top of his bill. $200 for every worker brought his tip to a whopping $4,600.

"Thank you, COVID Bandit! We are so grateful, words cannot match this act of kindness. The past year has certainly been a challenge and moments like these will not be forgotten," the restaurant wrote. "A wonderful reminder to us all to support our local communities and pay it forward when possible!"

Flagstaff House was closed from the start of the COVID-19 pandemic through the end of 2020, according to CBS4. They've been able to reopen in 2021 with a reduced capacity.

The mysterious COVID Bandit has been helping out restaurant staff with generous tips throughout the Denver metro area since February.
