New Orleans police have taken two men into custody for their roles in the fatal shooting of a well-known Elvis impersonator over the weekend, WWL reports.

On Saturday (May 8), deputies from the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office responded to Homestead Drive around 3:30 a.m. after receiving reports of shots fired. When they arrived, they found Jason Baglio with several gunshot wounds. Baglio, who performed as the king of rock and roll in Denham Springs under the name "Jayson Alfano," died from his injuries.

Authorities said that 28-year-old Trace Pigott fled the crime scene before deputies arrived, but he was found later in New Orleans and arrested by local police. His father, 53-year-old Tommy Ray Pigott, was reportedly at the shooting and also left the scene. He was eventually taken into custody by New Orleans police at a separate time than his son.

Trace Pigott is facing second-degree murder charges while his father faces principal to second-degree murder as he was allegedly present at the time of the shooting. As of Tuesday (May 11), they were awaiting transportation to Livingston Parish.

According to FOX 8, the victim's daughter, Shilah Baglio, created a GoFundMe page to help pay for funeral expenses.

"We are trying to raise money to lay our Elvis to rest," the fundraiser reads. "Anything helps. Everything is welcome. We thank everyone for all the prayers, this is hard, but together we can be okay."
