Man Critically Injured in Stabbing Outside Hollywood El Pollo Loco

HOLLYWOOD (CNS) - Los Angeles police were searching today for the assailant who stabbed and critically injured a man during a fight in the parking lot of the El Pollo Loco restaurant in Hollywood.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment, LAPD officer Rosario Cervantes said.

The victim entered the restaurant at Fountain Avenue and Vine Street following the fight and collapsed, Cervantes reported.

The two men got into a fight just before 7 p.m. The other man ran away, according to Cervantes.

Police had no suspect description.
