Armrest Wars: Argument Over Elbow Placement Forces Plane Back to Gate

Airlines are seeing a large spike in bad behavior from their passengers and most now have a “zero-tolerance” policy for anyone that causes trouble.

On a San Francisco flight to Las Vegas, the United Airlines flight had to return to the gate right before takeoff to kick two men off the plane. What did they do to get booted?

They got into an argument about elbow placement on the armrests of their seats.

The two men weren’t identified, weren’t prosecuted, and weren’t allowed to stay on the plane, which means they could both enjoy as much elbow comfort as they wanted.
