Food festivals are back in Colorado this summer. Many start in July and continue throughout September.
According to The Know, some events have picked up right where they left off pre-pandemic while others have adapted to the times.
Here are some of the food festivals happening in the Denver area this summer:
- Blues & BBQ - Denver (July 17)
- The 24th annual event features live music along with food and beer. Tickets are $10 and the proceeds will go to the affordable housing project and Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver.
- Summer Brew Fest - Denver (July 24)
- You can check out some of the best brews Denver has to offer at this festival. Daytime or evening sessions are for unlimited beer tastings start at $35.
- Cherry Creek North Food & Wine - Denver (August 11-14)
- This four-day event spotlights neighborhood restaurants and includes wine dinners, cooking demos, oyster shucking classes, and more interactive food activities.
- A Taste of Colorado - Denver (September 4-6)
- On Labor Day weekend this beloved festival will fill the streets of downtown Denver with local food trucks, restaurants, and street vendors. Bands will perform live and local artists will create murals for the event.
- Pueblo Chile and Frijoles Festival (September 24-26)
- For just $5 residents can see live entertainment, enjoy local food vendors, see cooking competitions and a chihuahua parade, all while celebrating one of Pueblo's most beloved crops: the Pueblo chile.
