Greeley police are asking for help identifying a peeping tom who was caught on video recently.
Home surveillance cameras captured images of a man looking into windows of several homes in Greely.
Now the Greely Police Department has posted the footage and is asking for help to identify the person.
The suspect has been seen multiple times in the area of First Street and 26th Avenue between the hours of 9:00 P.M on Sunday, July 4, and 12:00 A.M. Monday, July 5, according to FOX31.
The video below was recorded in the Villa West Community in Northern Greeley.
“It’s creepy, weird for sure,” Gunther Sims, who lives near where the man was recorded, told FOX31. “I have kids, and he could have been watching them.”
“Why would he do that? That’s weird,” said another person who lives nearby, Ray Laos. “It makes me uncomfortable — to look at people, especially if you don’t know them.”
According to Greely police, this type of crime could be classified as an "invasion of privacy for sexual gratification," depending on the investigation. This crime is a class 6 felony and police would need to do several follow-ups before charges are filed.
They are asking anyone with information to contact Officer Steward at 970-350-9605.
