Rush will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Moving Pictures with a screening of the director's cut of their concert film, Cinema Strangiato, in movie theaters for one night only on September 9.

Cinema Strangiato premiered with a similar global event in 2019, via Trafalgar Releasing.

The film features highlights from Rush's final tour, 'R40 Live,' plus previously unseen footage from backstage and soundcheck. There are also interviews with famous Rush fans like Billy Corgan and Tom Morello.

The director's cut, headed to theaters later this summer offers a revamped setlist with newly edited performances of "One Little Victory," "Red Barchetta," "Cygnus X-1" / "The Story So Far."

In a teaser video, which you can watch via the played above, Rush has shared a clip of Neil Peart's final recorded drum solo, which was during "Cygnus X-1" / "The Story So Far."

Tickets for screenings to the director's cut of Cinema Strangiato are available, starting August 3, in the U.S. and September 1 in Canada.
