15 Year Old Drowns While Tubing on the Schroon River

A 15 year old boy drowned while tubing on the Schroon River in Warrensburg Friday afternoon. State Police say Owen Harrington of Warrensburg was tubing with his family when he hit a downed tree and fell off his tube. He became submerged as attempts were made to get him out. He was taken to the Glens Falls Hospital, but died.
