Single young professionals are looking for more than just a career. They're looking for a social life and financial stability as well. Not all cities are suitable for single young professionals, though.

Zippia conducted a study to determine which cities in each state are best for single young professionals. The website states:

"To better understand where single young professionals have a good chance of prospering, we set out to find where rent is cheap, jobs are plentiful, and there are a high number of singles."

According to the study, the best city in Nevada for single young professionals is Reno. 35 percent of Reno's population has never been married, giving it a high rate of single adults. The median salary in Reno is around $42,106, while the rent prices are around $1,068 per month.
According to Zippia, here are the top 10 cities in the United States for single young professionals:

  1. Madison, WI
  2. Fargo, ND
  3. Salt Lake City, UT
  4. Raleigh, NC
  5. Cambridge, MA
  6. Charleston, SC
  7. Arlington, VA
  8. Lincoln, NE
  9. St. Paul, MN
  10. Nashville, TN
