Selena Gomez Invites Britney Spears To Her House After Instagram Shoutout

Britney Spears quoted Selena Gomez on Instagram, and it led to a sweet invitation from the “Love You Like a Love Song” singer.

Spears expressed her appreciation for having “a platform to share” a new passion of hers, even though she plans to “post a little less from now on.” The pop icon, still in a legal fight over her 13-year conservatorship, credited “horrible and mean lies” about her in the news for that decision.

But, quoting from Gomez’ 2015 song, Spears opted to “Kill Em With Kindness.” She wrote on Instagram:

“In a system where I’ve felt completely hopeless for so long, at least I do have a platform to share !!!! As Selena Gomez says it best - The world can be a nasty place ... I know it ... you know it … kill them with kindness ☀️☀️☀️ !!! Unfortunately the news has been pretty nasty saying horrible and mean lies about me so I’m gonna post a little less from now on 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ !!!! Gomez saw the post and responded to Spears with some kindness:
