Google Pay Calculator Explains Work-From-Home Pay Cuts

Reports say Google has a new internal calculator to explain potential pay cuts to staffers who choose to work from home. 

Screenshots obtained by Reuters show that employees who commuted an hour from Stamford, Connecticut to Google's Manhattan offices would take a 15 percent pay cut if they keep working from home. 

But Google staffers who live in New York's five boroughs wouldn't lose any money if they continue working from home. Screenshots showed five and ten percent differences for commuters living in the San Francisco, Seattle, and Boston areas.
