Authorities have charged two suspects accused of fatally shooting one Chicago Police Department officer and wounding another.

Now, their mother was arrested.

Evalena Flores, 41, is accused of live-streaming an attempt to get into the hospital where one of her sons is being treated for injuries in connection with the incident.

Emonte and Eric Morgan 21 and 22, respectively, are charged in connection with Officer Ella French’s death on Saturday (August 7). She was 29.

Flores is accused of kicking a security guard at the hospital where Emonte is reportedly receiving treatment, and wrestling with police officers as they arrested her. She insisted “my boys are not monsters,” and doesn’t believe what the Chicago Police department says, the Daily Mail reports.

In separate hearings on Tuesday (August 10), Emonte and Eric were denied bail. Neither of the brothers entered a plea, according to CNN.

The Chicago Police department mourned French, including with a prayer service and balloon release in her memory. The department asked the community on Twitter:

“Please hold her family, loved ones and fellow Chicago Police officers in your thoughts as we grieve the loss of this hero.
“Please also pray for her wounded partner, who is in the hospital fighting for his life. We're asking for everyone to lift up this officer and his family as we pray for his recovery.”
