NYC police arrested a man on Friday (August 13) after he made his way into the lobby of a Tribeca apartment building where Taylor Swift lives.

The alleged trespasser was identified by law enforcement as 28-year-old Nebraska native Patrick Nissen, who reportedly traveled across state lines on a bus trying to find the “You All Over Me” singer. Nissen was caught by police in the vestibule and is now facing a second-degree criminal trespassing misdemeanor charge.

Law enforcement told TMZ that Taylor wasn’t at home at the time and that Nissen got into the building through an unlocked door. A security officer at the apartment building called 9-1-1 after realizing Nissen didn’t have permission to be there.

Nissen isn’t the first man to try and find Taylor at her NYC apartment. She’s also had unwanted visitors at her homes in Rhode Island and Beverly Hills. Earlier this year a 52-year-old man who'd been previously been arrested for stalking models Gigi and Bella Hadid tried to gain access to Taylor's apartment.

On why he busted into the singer’s apartment building uninvited, Nissen told police officers he was in love with Taylor, and authorities later found photos of the star on his social media pages.
