Dua Lipa Rocks Barely There Unitard In Her Boldest Look Yet

Dua Lipa isn't only known for her hit songs, but also for her daring fashion sense. She showed off her boldest look yet in a series of Instagram photos posted on Monday (August 16).

The 25-year-old pop star rocked a barely-there unitard while posing alongside palm trees. The unitard shows off one of the most popular fashion trends of the summer—the cutout. Lipa unsurprisingly pulls off the eye-catching ensemble with flair and confidence.

"Mentally still here," Lipa captioned the slideshow of photos. The 'Levitating' performer made sure to share multiple shots with various poses so her followers can fully appreciate her outfit. The unitard has more than a dozen cutouts from the sleeves down to Lipa's ankles. The cutouts over Lipa's chest are accented with colorful beads, as well.

Lipa has previously spoken about her passion for personal style, as well as pushing the boundaries on what's considered "normal" for women to wear. "Everyone is allowed to wear whatever the f**k they want, and it’s so important that they do," Lipa once told Refinery29. "This is the way we move forward in the world. We have to break the norms. If women wearing womenswear is deemed normal, women wearing menswear should be normal, too. But normality is a tricky one. It's putting things in a box, and it shouldn’t be like that. Because what is normal, anyway?"

The Grammy-winning artist also views her sartorial choices as an expression of who she is as a person, as well as a performer. “It’s not necessarily the putting together of the image that is important, but being able to represent yourself and who you are as an artist that is important to musicians,” she told Vogue. “When I get involved in the fashion world, it’s another outlet for my creativity, another extension of my music and who I am as an artist. Fashion is an extension of what I’d like to say, another part of me, so from the very beginning I had quite a clear idea of what I like to wear.”

Lipa has certainly been busy with her music lately, too. She just dropped a new collaboration with Elton John, 'Cold Heart (PNAU Remix),' which sees Lipa tackling a sample of the iconic musician's hit song 'Rocketman'

Lipa will also be performing at this year’s iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas this September. The festival will also be broadcast live on iHeartMedia radio stations throughout the country across more than 150 markets.
