After two long months without their pet cat, an Oregon family has been reunited with their lost feline. What's strange is where they found the cat, according to KATU.

Reporters said the family nearly gave up on finding Lilo the cat after she went missing earlier this summer.

“We put up posters all over the place, like everywhere. We were like, there's woods, trails back there. I was walking through the trails trying to find her. Nothing,” Lilo's owner, Clarysa Garcia, told reporters.

Then, the cat's microchip suddenly showed up.

The signal was 150 miles away -- in Bend, Oregon. It turns out that the Humane Society of Central Oregon picked her up, but that doesn't explain how the cat found its way to the city. The family's also confused about how Lilo made it so far.

"A good Samaritan fed Lilo for about a month in Bend before taking her to the humane society," KATU learned. The family reportedly drove up to Bend Thursday (August 19) to pick up the long-lost pet.

They said they're grateful to have her back home.

Recently, a Washington woman found a family's lost car in a rather peculiar place following a months-long search.
