San Diego is one of the worst cities for sports fans in America, according to a new study.

Clever Real Estate ranked 42 metro areas in the United States that had a least one team in any of the four major professional sports leagues (National Football League, National Basketball Association, National Hockey League, and Major League Baseball).

They also used publicly available data from the U.S. Census and ESPN and considered factors like win rates, attendance per game, championships won since 2000, and the average price of tickets, beer, food, and parking.

According to the study's findings, San Diego is the sixth-worst city for sports fans.

These are the 10 worst sports cities:

  1. Cincinnati, Ohio: Bengals (NFL), Reds (MLB)
  2. Jacksonville, Florida: Jaguars (NFL)
