There might be a new album from The 1975 in the works. On Wednesday (August 25), the band's singer Matty Healy took to Instagram to let fans know he's "Making another ‘classic record’ smh" while showing off his flexed bicep.

If this "classic record" is indeed a new 1975 project it would mark the band's fifth album and follow up to last year's Notes on a Conditional Form; however, this cryptic message might not have to do with The 1975 at all. Healy also works as a producer, and recently helmed beabadoobee's Our Extended Play EP. He's also has been teasing music from the pre-1975 band Drive Like I Do this year.

“There’s a lot of people asking me about Drive Like I Do," Healy said in an Instagram Story video back in February. "Drive Like I Do was the band that we were before The 1975, so it’s kind of as humble as it was."

“There’s the old music, there’s a little bit of new music. I’m not gonna make a fanfare about it. It’s not coming out today, but it’s coming out pretty soon," he continued. "That’ll be a nice little thing. There’s loads of things going on, coming out, so I’m excited.”

Whatever the project is, we can't wait to hear more about it. See Healy's post below.
