Tucson's Festival of Books is set to return soon. KGUN 9 News reported that the festival will make its return early next year. The celebration was canceled in 2020 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. This year's festival was held virtually.

The festival's dates are set for March 12th and 13th of 2022.

So what is the Festival of Books?

Tucson's Festival of Books is a community-wide event that celebrates "all things literature." The festival's Twitter page states, "The Tucson Festival of Books is a free, public celebration of authors, books, reading and literacy."

The University of Arizona said in a statement:

"Mark your calendars and save the date for the in-person return of this community-wide celebration of literature. As always the festival is free of charge for all attendees."

The festival wrote on Twitter:

“We are thrilled to announce that the 2022 Tucson Festival of Books will be held on the University of Arizona campus on March 12 and 13, 2022! Mark your calendars and save the date for the in-person return of this community-wide celebration of literature."
