Michael Bublé Celebrates Son's Birthday With A Throwback: 'My Hero Turns 8'

Michael Bublé is proud to see his son grow up before his eyes.

On Friday (August 17), the singer/songwriter, 45, took to Instagram to share a sweet message in honor of Noah, 8, who has been in remission from cancer since 2017. "Today my hero turns 8! I've never met anyone as brave… I've never known anyone as kind or as good-hearted… And I'll never truly be able to express how proud I am, or how deep and profound Mommy's and my love is for you," he captioned a post with two images: one recent shot and another throwback shot. "You've blessed our lives in every way. We hope God blesses you on your special day. Happy Birthday, Noah B."

Back in 2017, Bublé was about to perform in London when he received a text message from his wife, Luisana Lopilato, revealing the devastating news. Putting everything on hold, the pair moved from Vancouver to California to be by their son's side and patiently watched the young one receive life-saving treatments, including chemotherapy. Bublé is also a father to a two-and-a-half-year-old son, Elias, and daughter, Vida.

"I don't think I feel very nervous for anything anymore," he admitted in 2018. "The perspective that I have on life now allows me to understand that I don’t have to sweat the small stuff. I want there to be a purity, and I want there to be a focus on relationships and kindness. I'm spending my time doing things I love and with people I love, for people I love."
