U.S. Representative Elise Stefanik Gives Birth To A Baby Boy

Saratoga Springs, N.Y. - U.S. Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has given birth to her first child.

Stefanik who represents the 21st Congressional District, tweeted out "We are over the moon to announce the arrival of our healthy baby boy Samuel (’Sam’) Albritton Manda." The baby weighed in at 9 lbs 3 ozs.

The 37 year old Stefanik was first elected to Congress in 2014.

Earlier this year, she garnered the No. 3 position in the Republican caucus after the party ousted Wyoming Rep. Liz Chaney.
