On Tuesday (August 31), Camila Cabello walked the red carpet of her highly anticipated film retelling of Cinderella. The 24-year-old looked stunning in a bejeweled high-low Oscar de la Renta gown.

Following the red carpet, Cabello was set to join her co-stars, including Billy Porter and Idina Menzel, on stage inside The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. The 'Don't Go Yet' singer was delayed, however, after suffering a fainting spell.

"I'm sorry, I just passed out, but I'm back!" Cabello told the audience when she emerged from backstage. "I literally just passed out, and now I'm back and I'm ready to read my notes."

Cabello didn't offer any other details about her small scare at the time, though she appeared to be in good health for the rest of the evening. She even gave her entire speech as planned.

"All I can say is this was such an incredible experience," she said. "I believed in this movie so much, that all I wanted was to enjoy it and not f**k it up. And I'm happy I didn't f**k it up. And I'm grateful for everybody who believed in me enough to give me the opportunity."

Ahead of the film's release, Cabello gushed to HOLA! USA about how her time on set affected her. “I don’t have anything planned after the Cinderella release, but I fell in love with the experience and acting, so I hope this is the beginning of many more opportunities,” she said.

The 'Havana' singer has also spoken about why she believes this updated take on the classic fairytale is necessary. Cabello's Cinderella is more focused on chasing her dreams of being a dressmaker than chasing after Prince Charming. “Cinderella is a musically-driven bold new take on the traditional story you grew up with,” the official synopsis states “Our heroine is an ambitious young woman whose dreams are bigger than the world will allow, but with the help of her Fab G, she is able to persevere and make her dreams come true.”

Cinderella premieres Sept. 3 on Amazon Prime Video.
