New music from Beyonce is coming.

On Thursday (September 2), the highly anticipated film King Richard, which details the early lives of tennis greats Serena and Venus Williams as their father Richard Williams pushed them towards greatness, premiered at the Telluride Film Festival. According to early reviews, the film is already garnering Oscar buzz.

While Will Smith received praise for his turn as the film's title character, there was another aspect of the movie that had people looking ahead to the Academy Awards. Beyonce recorded a new song specifically for King Richard, which was heard for the first time at the premiere.

The new song is titled 'Be Alive' and is featured during the end credits as it plays over archival footage of the real Serena and Venus. Beyonce co-wrote and co-produced the song with DIXSON.

Little else is known about the track at this time. Since it's an original song for King Richard, however, that will make her eligible for an Oscar nomination in the Best Original Song category. This would be Beyonce's first Academy Award nomination.

Here's the official synopsis for King Richard:

"Based on the true story that will inspire the world, Warner Bros. Pictures’ King Richard follows the journey of Richard Williams, an undeterred father instrumental in raising two of the most extraordinarily gifted athletes of all time, who will end up changing the sport of tennis forever. Two-time Oscar nominee Will Smith stars as Richard, under the direction of Reinaldo MarcusGreen.
Driven by a clear vision of their future and using unconventional methods, Richard has a plan that will take Venus and Serena Williams from the streets of Compton, California to the global stage as legendary icons. The profoundly moving film shows the power of family, perseverance and unwavering belief as a means to achieve the impossible and impact the world."

King Richard will debut on HBO Max and in theaters on November 19.
