Jennifer Lawrence Is Pregnant With Her First Child

Jennifer Lawrence is on the road to motherhood.

On Wednesday night (September 8), PEOPLE exclusively confirmed that the Hollywood titan, 31, is expecting her first child with her husband, art gallery director Cooke Maroney, 37. Lawrence's rep shared the big news with the celebrity gossip outlet. This marks their first child together.

Lawrence and Maroney were first romantically linked in June 2018, before getting engaged to one another in February 2019. They went on to wed in October of that year in Rhode Island. The affair hosted 150 guests, including Adele, Amy Schumer, Kris Jenner and Emma Stone.

While JLaw typically remains mum on her romance, she did open up about their dynamic on Catt Sadler's podcast, Naked with Catt Sadler, in 2019, calling him "the greatest human being [she's] ever met." "He really is, and he gets better," she gushed, before revealing why she decided to tie the knot. "I don't know, I started with the basics: 'How do I feel? Is he nice? Is he kind?' It's just — this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he's just, he's—you know. He's the greatest person I've ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney."
