Country superstars Brett Eldredge and Chris Stapleton hit the stage at "The World's Largest Musical Festival" in Milwaukee this week, each after facing some pretty serious situations in the last week.

Last week, Brett shared a close up video of an encounter with a black bear at a home in Asheville, North Carolina while preparing to go on tour.

“Opened the garage to go on a hike and had a new friend waiting to say hello,” the “Good Day” singer captioned the video posted to Instagram last week.

In the video, the singer-songwriter shouts at the bear, telling him to leave. The bear doesn’t seem to listen at first, and instead focuses its attention on a trash can in the far corner of the garage. Eldredge gets some backup in shouting at the creature –– which looks to be nearly as tall as the height of the garage.

The bear eventually backs up as a chorus of shouts and commands to “get out of there” come from inside the home. The video cuts off before we can see how the bear eventually leaves, but it appears everyone is okay after the singer took the stage at Summerfest in Milwaukee on Saturday (September 11). The musician also teased a new song "Cinnamon" and asked fans if they should "put it in the set for The Good Day Tour," which officially kicks off September 16 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Chris Stapleton also took the stage at the festival after canceling his headlining performance at Battle Rock earlier this month before due to a health issue unrelated to COVID-19. The Highwomen stepped in for their "dear friend" giving their second full set performance ever since forming the group in 2019.

"Milwaukee 9.9.2021" the singer wrote in a caption on Instagram, sharing photos of his guitar-assisted performance and a crowd full of fans with phone lights.
