A British actress has been missing in Los Angeles for several days as friends and family are seeking public assistance in locating her.

Tanyaradzwa "Tanya" Fear, 31, who appeared in the long running British television series Doctor Who and the film Kick-Ass 2, is reported to have last been seen on September 9 at the Trader Joe's on Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood, NBC News reports.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed a missing-persons report was filed in relation to the actress' disappearance on September 9 but no additional details were made available as of Monday (September 13) morning.

Fear's manager told ABC 7 he spoke with the actress just over a week ago and said she has been fine since making the move to the Los Angeles area.

A @FindTanyaFear Twitter account launched by Fear's friends and family provided several updates on the search for the missing actress over the weekend.

"This account is dedicated to finding our beloved Tanya Fear who went missing in the Hollywood Bowl area on 9th Sep 2021," the account tweeted on Sunday (September 12). "Tanya has a distinct British accent, is 5ft4, weighs about 140lbs, brown eyes, black hair and her hair looks like the picture below."

Anyone with information about Fear's whereabouts is advised to contact the Los Angeles Police Department or reach out to the @FindTanyaFear account via Twitter.
