Urquidy, Astros Defeat Rangers

Jose Urquidy pitched strong as the Astros beat the Rangers 7-2 in Arlington. The right-hander fanned six batters over six innings of one-run ball to get his seventh win. Marwin Gonzales and Jake Meyers each homered in the second to give Houston an early lead. Kyle Tucker also went deep in the eighth for the Astros, who have won three of their last four. Nathaniel Lowe batted in a run for Texas, which has dropped two of its last three. Kohei Arihara took his fourth loss, surrendering six runs in four frames.
