Fans Explain Why They Won't Call Yung Miami By Her Rap Name

Twitter let one of the City Girls know why they refuse to call her by her rap name.
"Ppl really be like JT & Caresha," Yung Miami, whose real first name is Caresha, tweeted late Sunday night (September 19). "Like dead a** Just f––k my rap name lol."
This isn't the first time the social media platform has hashed out this conversation so fans were quick to reply to the "Jobs" rapper and explained why they use Caresha instead of Yung Miami when referring to the rapper.
"It just fits her," one person wrote. Others blamed City Girls' friend and "Walk' rapper Santana for starting the trend of using Caresha after a viral Instagram moment solidified fans' name choice for her.
"Once Santana started 'Caresha Please' it was over," one Twitter user explained.
Ppl really be like JT & Caresha 😂😂😂😂😂😂 like dead ass Just fuck my rap name lol

It’s the fact that we’ve all collectively agreed to call her Caresha instead of Yung Miami.

One fan said they would respect the rapper's preference while others said Caresha is here to stay.
Yung Miami better blame Santana for us calling her Caresha because at this point that’s her new stage name. pic.twitter.com/PL2HsR43gZ

Right. I stayed calling her Yung Miami until her and Santana started their live segments on IG. It just fits her. But if she prefers to be called by her stage name, I can respect that.
