A recent survey claims that Sacramento County has some of the rudest drivers in the country.

Insurify released a survey that determined which U.S. cities have the rudest drivers.

Their research team consulted their database of over 4 million car insurance applications to find which cities had the greatest share of drivers with one or more violations on record including failure to yield, failure to stop, improper backing, passing where prohibited, tailgating, street racing, and a hit-and-run.

According to their findings, Rancho Cordova is the city with the rudest drivers. They're followed by another Sacramento County city, Citrus Heights (No. 2).

However, the City of Rancho Cordova responded to the study calling it false. The city government's Facebook page released a detailed list of reasons why they believe the study was not accurate.

"This is not a representative, scientific or random sample survey. Insurify’s data set is people who applied for insurance with them," the city wrote.
