Police in Washington weren't prepared for a performance after they responded to an alleged fight, KOMO reports.

The bizarre incident took place Wednesday afternoon (September 23) in the area of Tuscany Plaza on Road 68 in Pasco, Washington, according to Pasco Police on Facebook. Two women reportedly met up in front of a restaurant but then got into a dispute.

The 37-year-old suspect allegedly climbed onto the roof of the victim's car and started hitting her with her fists, officers claim. She even pulled off the victim's wig at one point, reports added. Police say the suspect then crawled into the victim's car through the sunroof and continued beating her.

"During the assault, the victim allegedly fired one round from her pistol as a warning shot," reporters wrote. "Shortly after this, an officer arrived on scene to see the women fighting over the gun. The officer quickly separated the women and secured the pistol."

Police then ordered the suspect to wait in front of the patrol car. That's when a dash camera inside the vehicle captured the woman climbing onto the front of the vehicle and began twerking. She was arrested on suspicion of assault, authorities say.

Authorities did not release the identity of the suspect due to a separate pending investigation.
