After over five decades, a popular Atlanta holiday tradition is retiring.

According to WSB-TV, Macy's Priscilla the Pink Pig at Lenox Square Mall will no longer be available to spread holiday cheer this season.

Priscilla, the Pink Pig, wrote a statement to Atlanta announcing the end of the famous ride saying, "Dear Atlantans, for more than 50 years, I've had a memorable ride with many generations of Atlantans who know my arrival at Macy's Lenox Square marks the start of the holiday season," the statement said. "I treasure the friends that I've met from near and far and am proud of the iconic holiday tradition I have become."

During the decades-long run, Macy's donated a portion of the ride's ticket sales to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

To honor Priscilla, Macy's is donating $20,000 to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

In a statement from the children's hospital website, Macy's donated a "commemorative collection of items for purchase." Of the items available for purchase, you can find the iconic Pink Pig plush. Every dollar made from the collection items will benefit the Children's mission of making kids better today and healthier tomorrow.

The Pink Pig items will be available for purchase starting October 11 until they are sold old.
