As venues are opening back up and concerts are starting up again, more and more venues are requiring COVID-19 vaccinations. So which Utah venues are requiring vaccines?
Deseret News provided a breakdown of each Utah venue and their COVID-19 policies. Here are the policies:
VIVINT ARENA
Our guests over the age of 12 will need to provide proof of all vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR test. The test needs to be taken within 72 hours of the events start time. This includes Utah jazz games and concerts.
KINGSBURY HALL
In an email to Deseret News, Brooke Horejsi, director of Kingsbury Hall's concert series UtahPresents, said:
"The university has a vaccination requirement for students and health care university employees, but cannot extend that to patrons at campus venues for experiences presented by the University of Utah."
UTAH SYMPHONY AND UTAH OPERA
Utah Symphony and Utah Opera announced on September 3rd that patrons will need to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test for entry into performances. This applies to both Abravanel Hall and Capitol Theatre. Anyone who is not able to provide the required documentation has until October 30th to request a refund for any performance during the 2021-2022 season.
ECCLES THEATER
The series presenter for Eccles Theater, MagicSpace Entertainment, is requiring audience members to show either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test for entry into the venue.
THE STATE ROOM AND THE COMMONWEALTH ROOM
Both venues are requiring audience members to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination with a matching ID.
USANA AMPHITHEATRE
This venue is requiring both artist and fans to be fully vaccinated or show a negative COVID-19 test.
