Robert A. Pape is a Professor of Political Science at the University of Chicago specializing in international security affairs and Director of the Chicago Project on Security and Threats: UChicago CPOST

I didn’t spend a lot of time talking about what happened on January 6th. It was a travesty and I’m not interested in efforts by anyone to defend it. But with more data now coming from research into the people who were involved, it raises a question about how likely something similar may be in the future. Bob Pape is the man behind this research and his conclusions are fascinating and somewhat frightening.
