Traffic is anticipated to be a nightmare this weekend in San Francisco.
According to KRON, traffic and parking will start becoming an issue on Friday, October 8. Not only is Fleet Week underway in the city, but several big events are happening this weekend.
On Friday night at Oracle Park, the Giants will host the Los Angeles Dodgers for Game 1 of the National League Division Series.
This isn't the only California sports rivalry to go down in the city this weekend.
While the MLB Playoffs are happening, the Golden State Warriors will also host the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night.
The Giants game is scheduled to start at 6:37 P.M. and around 20 minutes later the Dubs will hit the court at Chase Center, just down the street.
Bay Area sports fans have a lot to look forward to this weekend. Fans and nonfans should prepare for heavier traffic than normal on a Friday night.
