(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Restaurant owners around Iowa are having a hard time ordering some typical menu items.

"We have had ... hardcore product shortages," says Carrie Kraklio, owner of Fieldhouse in Cedar Rapids. "So the type of burger we order might not be the same type of burger they still have in-house. So we have to make adjustments for that."

She says it's especially demanding this fall.

"Football season is our bread-and-butter," says Kraklio. "It's a whole different ballgame when the Hawks are playing."

She says supply chain shortages caused by COVID-19 have made it hard to get chicken breast, legs and strips.
