Truck Driver Killed In Eastern Iowa I-80 Crash

(Cedar County, IA) -- A truck driver is dead after an eastern crash this (Wednesday) morning. The Iowa State Patrol says 38-year-old Reynold Madara of Woodward, Oklahoma was getting back on I-80 after securing a load in Cedar County, when his semi was rear-ended by a second semi. The crash happened in the westbound lanes of I-80, at mile marker 277 at 7:10 a.m.

Both semis went into the north ditch. The driver of the second truck, 52-year-old Jan Bisek of LaGrange, Illinois was killed.
