Mastercard is releasing a new card that makes life easier for visually impaired customers.
- The new 'touch card' design has notches carved into the sides that makes it easier to quickly identify by touch alone - a round notch for credit cards, a square notch for debit cards, and a triangular notch for prepaid cards.
- The Touch Card can also help protect customers from having to ask a stranger for help identifying the right card.
- The cards were developed in conjunction with both U.S. and UK organizations for the blind and visually impaired.
- What are some other easy ways we can make things better for the visually impaired?
