Radiohead Drop Studio Version Of 'Follow Me Around' From 'Kid A Mnesia'

Radiohead's series of classic album reissues continues to delight fans with the release of yet another long-awaited single, "Follow Me Around."

Written shortly after 1997's O.K. Computer, "Follow Me Around" was performed a handful of times in the late-'90s and early-2000s (the band can be seen rehearsing it in their 1998 documentary Meeting People Is Easy), but an official studio version of the track eluded fans for more than two decades.

As the turn of the century neared, Radiohead entered perhaps its most creatively fruitful period, writing a surplus of material that encompassed its next two studio albums. "Follow Me Around" was among several tracks that never found a home on either record until now.

On Friday, Radiohead will release KID A MNESIA, an expanded reissue of both 2000's Kid A and 2001's Amnesiac. "Follow Me Around" and "If You Say the Word" are among the previously unreleased tracks included on the set.
