Badly Decomposing Bodies Found In Bronx Apartment

The decomposing bodies of a man and woman were found in a Bronx apartment over the weekend. This comes after neighbors had complained that they had maggots falling from the ceiling and a putrid smell that would not go away. Police say when they got into the apartment at 2390 Creston Avenue, they found the body of a 40-year-old man with a gun next to him. Lying nearby him was a 29-year-old woman. Police believe the two died by murder-suicide. It's possible the bodies had been in the apartment for more than two weeks. A neighbor in the building says they had heard gunshots about two weeks ago, but never reported it to the police.
